Hi everyone!
I have lived in both Virginia and California. In California, I lived in the Bay area for 10 years and in Virginia, mainly in the Charlottesville area. Both areas are blessed with vineyards but now also with breweries. Since moving back to Virginia, I have explored all the new and existing establishments with friends and family. I hope in the next few months I will get to explore more with new friends here in Virginia.
Everything I write about is my opinion and we all know what they say about opinions. I have learned about adult beverages by being in the restaurant business and from enjoying them at vineyards and breweries. I feel that trying new things is so important to a balanced life. I will write about a place if I have been there more than once, because I do not think you can get a feel for a place in one visit. We all have off days.
I am a woman in her 50’s who has decided there are so many more memories that need to be made and I hope to travel and tell you about my adventures down the road. But for now I am going to concentrate on my own “backyard”.
